no fair, no care
so rare, impossible perception now
let the lights grow dim as the thoughts are thin
shall we find a piece that fits
for the love of all these petty crimes
we're not the ones who have to go
mercenaries with menacing eyes seek to rise
phantoms hiding away in their effervescent heart
so look away before you have to find these images on your eyes
so isgnificant for your foes
there's no way, in hell,
you could ever find the no face monster hiding for you in hell
spinning out around each day
hoping that my words will stay
blood is my desire for lust
is my, is my sun (this beating heart)
my name, my name is gone (this bleeding, this bleeding heart)
too weak, to trust anyone ever again,
again
wait just a second now, this is how we let it die, yeah
life is filled with elemental lines
you have to see between them before you die
this sun is begging for the light that we stole away that day
so it's drained, will it ever shine?
oh, who knows, maybe, just maybe someday
I made love with my girlfriend so many times on this album. It is incredible. The songs are so beautiful and the rythm so well coordinated for this kind of moment... Anyway, always good to listen to it in the bus too Faugus
What a creative and unique EP from David! I love the intricacy and level of detail in the soundscape so much. There's always something for my ear to catch each time I visit this release. This is one of his more underrated releases, in my opinion. Great job, David! :D Erkadur
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
This is probably my favorite progressive metal album ever. I could have sworn I already bought it but I must have gotten it when it was free instead. Sylnox
