i didn't know it would feel like this
i didn't know it would feel like this,
a waste of breath in heavens game
i didn't know it would feel like this
i didn't know it was real like this
overwhelming sin, i'm becoming, i'm becoming
i'm something, i'm becoming something else
the shape of the earth surrounds me
waking every piece that never surfaced in its life
to wake me, to save me
didn't know it could feel like this,
didn't know it was real like this overwhelming sin
i'm becoming i'm becoming something else
we are in the dark, we are in the dark, in the dark
retreating underneath the ground of the earth is me
finding me is easy once you look into the ground
pages turning like a fantasy, can't we dream
wandering the forests of memories of the energy we
lost inside when everything faded like a thought
pondering the afterthought of every living night in the dark
in the dark, in the dark, in the dark
the pages turning like the way they're
burning bright, so even the darkest night
will turn to light
the sacred circle of life is waiting
to surface like a raven taking flight and turning white

I like the fact that this guy is not in “omg I love djent so much I’ll only let *that* express in my songs” mode. With his friends he crafts thoughtful and diverse songs which can be either playful or touching. Alice M.

What a creative and unique EP from David! I love the intricacy and level of detail in the soundscape so much. There's always something for my ear to catch each time I visit this release. This is one of his more underrated releases, in my opinion. Great job, David! :D Erkadur

The buildup section in the early-middle part of "Mbinguni Amina" is one of my favorite bits of music that's ever been written, and the drop that follows that buildup is the the heaviest drop of all time. Don't @ me. Kadin Wisniewski
