is this crazy, or am i crazy?
is this mental, or are we fading?
ever since that i was a child, i wished that i could hide
i did not know if i was mental or just crazy inside
if you say something to me then i'll make you cry
just to see if i could find my pain in your eyes
mess with me, mess with me c'mon, mess with me
mess with me
oh it's in the bones,
existential fears are home
when the night comes into action
do we all cry or form a faction
when the night comes into action
do we all hide or seek perfection
oh it's in the bones
existential fears, our own
don't be afraid, to fight the wave
don't be afraid, of what you might become
so don't be afraid of what you might become
until your darkest days
open the door and let the madness pour
until it breaks this cage
waste away, wait for change
i pray that i can find my way
take to ease, and rest with me
say the words that only you know
i'm bleeding out but we are strong
because i know, that we, can be
reborn inside, and set to ignite
in loss we greave, to ease our souls
in loss we greave, to ease our souls
behold! live the pain
in retribution's name
what did you say
do not dig your grave
I made love with my girlfriend so many times on this album. It is incredible. The songs are so beautiful and the rythm so well coordinated for this kind of moment... Anyway, always good to listen to it in the bus too Faugus
What a creative and unique EP from David! I love the intricacy and level of detail in the soundscape so much. There's always something for my ear to catch each time I visit this release. This is one of his more underrated releases, in my opinion. Great job, David! :D Erkadur
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
This is probably my favorite progressive metal album ever. I could have sworn I already bought it but I must have gotten it when it was free instead. Sylnox
