A dark mysterious sound typical of ForTiorI. Utilizing tribal drums, focusing heavily on stomping rhythm and using the bridge/neck pickup switch position for the rhythm guitars, this song gives you an unsettling sense of fear as you slowly loose your mind and can´t tell reality from nightmare.
lyrics
her voice read to me
"dream is destiny"
trapped in a never ending
stream of false awakenings
am I asleep or have I
become thoughts eternally
[first time whispered - second time montone sung]
information floweth into mind
patterns tessellate in time
taken from familiar states of be-ing
I am thrust into an existence of decaying perceptivity
the resulting consequences of which I have yet to
appreciate but point to even deeper meaning and may be
infinitely far reaching
questions
are self-answered
in this passive
interaction
trapped in a never ending
stream of false awakenings
am I asleep or have I
become thoughts eternally
taking inventory of
my faculties I
flip the switch to
test the environment
i can still see
i can still breathe
but this reality
bends at the seams
0characters degrade
the settings fade
the meanings escape
profundity remains
Cool compositions and great production – Who Bit the Moon is full of prog-rock moments that uplift and quickly capture attention. Neat changes in tempo add interest, and plentiful guitar hooks deliver moments to savour. Michael Reilly
