go down in history, your pedigree's
waiting for something meaningful
so throw out all the repeats, your enemy
speak out or you'll never be heard
go
let go
the crows
are closing in
mentally you're weakening
i've shown you once before how everything appears to me
and all the lessons once taught are now being thrown to sea
whoah, i'm spinning out of control
and destiny's been waiting for its messenger too long
no more, control
just waiting for the sea
battering our minds in sync
shattering our lives, so sick
murder, further, shed the blood
lift us from the mound in search for answers
burn us to the ground if you have found one
set the world around and push it backwards
time and space rewound.
until we are all face down
go down in history, your pedigree's
waiting for something meaningful
so throw out all the repeats, your enemy
speak out or you'll never be heard
Let go.
I made love with my girlfriend so many times on this album. It is incredible. The songs are so beautiful and the rythm so well coordinated for this kind of moment... Anyway, always good to listen to it in the bus too Faugus
What a creative and unique EP from David! I love the intricacy and level of detail in the soundscape so much. There's always something for my ear to catch each time I visit this release. This is one of his more underrated releases, in my opinion. Great job, David! :D Erkadur
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
This is probably my favorite progressive metal album ever. I could have sworn I already bought it but I must have gotten it when it was free instead. Sylnox
